De herinnering blijft, het leven moet door.
Dit schilderij gaat over de mentale mishandeling van een vrouw in een relatie, niet zichtbaar en merkbaar voor de buitenstaander, want de vrouw uit zich er niet erover, schaamte overwint gevoel om voor jezelf op te komen.
Dit niet zomaar een vorm van mishandeling en geweld, vooral in de relatie , mentaal geweld ontneemt je je zijn , de kern van je bestaan. 
Het zuigt al je kracht uit je lichaam en laat je helemaal leeg achter. 
Dit is de ergste vorm van geweld en helaas komt het nog iedere dag voor, vaker dan je verwacht.

The memory remains, life has to go on.
This painting is about the mental abuse of a woman in a relationship, not visible and noticeable to the outsider, because the woman does not express herself about it, shame conquers feeling to stand up for yourself. 
This is not just another form of abuse and violence, especially in the relationship, mental violence takes away your being, the core of your existence. It sucks all your strength out of your body and leaves you completely empty. 
This is the worst form of violence and unfortunately it still occurs every day, more often than you expect.
